This year, our Group celebrates its 25th anniversary. This is a significant milestone and an excellent opportunity to pause and reflect upon all the achievements and growth we have achieved.

From a small office in central London, Paul and Selina Burdell established the Group back in 1998, starting with just 18 employees. Since those early days we have grown and evolved to have operations in 9 countries, across 14 offices, and with over 1,000 employees managing more than €60bn in loan value – we have certainly come a long way!

Amongst a host of other things of which we can be rightly proud, there have been several industry firsts:

• The Group were the pioneers of the European Debt Purchase sector, setting a high bar for the fair treatment of customers which has since become the standard for all to follow;
• The establishment of LCM Partners as an Alternative Investment Fund Manager was a sector-leading development, and we are proud to have won a highly recognised industry award every year since 2015;
• A focus on excellence in operations and technology led to the development of our industry-leading credit management software produced within our Group by LDMS.

Our success can only be attributed to the hard work and dedication of each and every team member. We are incredibly proud of the culture and the community we have all created together.
