CMP Automotive Group, a partner of LCM’s SOLO strategy, has executed a swift switch over to start producing parts for ventilators, supporting medical needs in the fight against COVID-19.

CMP AUTOMOTIVE GROUP is g assisting with the supply of essential components necessary to manufacture oxygen respirators using a line adapted by SEAT (Martorell) in record time. Initially designed for the manufacture of the front axle of the sub-chassis of the well-known Seat León, production is now fully dedicated to satisfying the high demand for this essential component in the fight against COVID-19.
Parts normally supplied by CMP AUTOMOTIVE GROUP through its subsidiary MONTAJES ABRERA to be assembled into hood components of SEAT models, have been destined for a very different purpose than the one they were designed for. . Thanks to a tool developed specifically by the Group’s engineers, they are being reused as component parts for respirators.
